I’ve started this web page partly to promote my work. I have some writing and some music to share. But I also want to promote the work and the issues I care about: Appalachian culture, music, literature, action against racism, addiction and recovery, working class life, the environment, a future for our children. You will find information here about my writing and music, but also the writing and music of others, as well as the work of people struggling to make a better world.  There’s liable to be hard times ahead; let’s stay connected.
